Breakfast Club is a bimonthly breakfast lecture and networking series, where we bring together a small group of entrepreneurs over tea, coffee, and an array of breakfast foods, to network with and learn from the stories of seasoned business people who've walked that path before us.

Because the system needs it, and the community needs it. We already have a growing community of entrepreneurs, startup founders, and small business owners, who are sharing their stories and encouraging one another on this journey. But what we're missing is guidance: advice from people who've gone there before us, stories of successes that inspire, and failures that educate us.

We want all our Breakfast Club meetings to be small and intimate: groups of 12 or fewer people, where we can freely ask questions and have conversations, and everyone can leave as a better person and a better businessperson.

Our Guests

Our guest speakers are seasoned creative business people who started their enterprises from scratch, and have built them into formidable forces today. Previous guest speakers include Mrs. Adesuwa Onyenokwe, the founder and publisher of TW Magazine.

The Programme

Our Breakfast Club meetings hold on the 1st Thursday of every other month. Meetings start at 10am, with a short talk, a Q & A session (we'll call for questions beforehand), and conversations over breakfast.

Check out our event calendar for details about the next Breakfast Club.

Demo Day is our quarterly startup showcase, where we invite entrepreneurs, startup founders, and business owners, to come and share what they’re working on. We also invite members of the general public, as well as the media, influential bloggers, and investors.

The idea is to put interesting ideas in the open, so that the exhibitors can have access to the valuable feedback and contacts that will help their businesses grow.

Presenter slots at Demo Day are free and open to the general public, so if you'd like to showcase your product, please fill in the form below. We have 3 presenters at every Demo Day, and the event holds on the 1st Tuesday of every 3rd month.

Apart from the chance to showcase your work at the event, you'll also get the following:

  • Free advertising from our friends at IN3K8 Media. They are partnering with us to offer 1 week of free digital advertising to all our past and future Demo Day exhibitors, across all 13 of their screens in Lagos. See here for more details about what they're offering.
  • 50% off a sponsored post on
  • A dedicated post on our blog, promoting your product or service.
  • A 10-day Flex Pass to use at CapitalSquare, absolutely free. Valid for 3 months.

Demo Day is free to attend. Check out our event calendar to know when the next one's happening.

Click the button below to fill the application form, and we'll send you an email if your application is successful. Just remember to keep it interesting.

Please note that applications are assessed on a rolling basis and we only select 3 exhibitors per event, so you may not be selected to demo immediately. You only need to apply once.

Jelly! is a free coworking day, where freelancers, remote workers and small business owners can get out of their regular workspace, meet some new people and work together in a social environment. It's a mixture of work, chat, comparing of ideas, passing on tips, and maybe even collaboration on a new project.

It's also great if you're interested in coworking at CapitalSquare but want to try us out first, completely free!

We'll provide an awesome space to sit and work, WiFi, power outlets, a few munchies, and interesting people to collaborate with. You just bring yourself, your laptop (or whatever you use to work), and a friendly disposition, and we're all set for an amazing day of coworking.

Jelly is on the 3rd Friday of every month.

P.S. If you decide to register and pay for any of our membership plans on Jelly day, you get 10% off your first payment!

If you're starting a business, running a business, or just thinking about business, we have a workshop that can help you.

Startup 101 is a series of workshops that offer training on a broad range of topics relevant to entrepreneurs and small business owners. The workshops are led by established entrepreneurs, business professionals, and subject matter experts.

We're hoping to help you learn the practical details of most (if not all) aspects of starting and running a small business, from company structure and incorporation, to things like bookkeeping, brand building, strategy, marketing, fund raising, and product design.
