So I've been thinking about how to contribute to the blog more - it's one more thing I'd like to do, but don't really have time for, because of all the work that goes into making CapitalSquare work. But I'm working on it.
In the meantime, I thought it would be a good idea to share something interesting/useful/important every week, that I discovered on the internet. Could be an article, a video, an app, or whatever - just something I think is cool, and would like other people to see/know about. And it'll most likely be something relating to business, entrepreneurship, productivity, that sort of thing. And maybe I'll throw in a bit of info about life at CapitalSquare and life as an entrepreneur. Well, here goes.
The find for this week is a short video by Miki Agrawal, a serial entrepreneur and author. I had never heard of her before seeing this video, but her book is called "Do Cool Sh*t", so I guessed she'd be interesting. It's also encouraging to know that not everyone who has something useful and important to say has been in Forbes or wherever. Unless, you know, she's been in Forbes and I don't know because I don't keep track of these things.
Anyhow, this video is about 'Standing Out in a Noisy World', and it was in my Slideshare newsletter last week. Yes, I look at newsletters before deleting - you never know what you'll find. Ms Agrawal's video touches on a bunch of things, from how to figure out what business you should be doing, to why we should stop asking people if we can pick their brains. I thought it was cool.
That's a nice hat :)
