OzNet Systems is an Information Technology (IT) company with a focus on sustainable IT solutions.  The company is trademarked as 'the Eco-friendly IT company'.  Their goal is to introduce businesses to the best methods and or solutions to reduce their carbon foot print.  With our content management solutions paired with eco-friendly products, we create efficiency in the work place.

What do you love about working for yourself?

Being independent, meeting other entrepreneurs, making time to innovate and collaborate in business ventures.


What’s the hardest thing about being an entrepreneur?

Starting with not enough capital and other resources.


 What do you wish you knew before you started your business?

Educate yourself on business matters, attend business trainings. Work with the private sector for proper business exposure.


Why do you do what you do? Where did the idea come from?

The career suggestion actually came from my Dad (bless his soul).  Who was a visionary in his industry as a furniture maker (Ozo Bros Cabinet Works in Aba), he wanted to integrate IT in his furniture business.  My choice of IT focuses stems from my experience in the industry and the affinity to create a paperless/eco-friendly work place.

  How different is what you do now from what you wanted to do as a child?

Not so much difference, I grew up in a practical technical world of furniture making and my choice has not changed.  My friends and I used to build clay furniture as a child, it just evolved to computing.


 How long have you been working out of CapitalSquare? What has the experience been like?

3 months and counting. I looked all over Lagos for a space like CapitalSquare and was happy when I was referred to business center by a friend (Bello Idris) in Lagos who was contacted by one of my friends in New York (Temitope Fajingbesi, a radio show host).


Would you recommend it?

Most definitely.


If you could share a desk with any two people in the world, who would they be? Why?

My business partner and My Sales and Marketing Manager because we have an unparalleled personal and business synergy.


If you could be any animal, what would you be?

A cheetah.
