So is CapitalSquare a business incubator or a virtual office or what?

CapitalSquare is a coworking space (i.e. a shared office where small businesses, freelancers, and remote workers rent space and share full professional office facilities). However, we offer a virtual plan, where you can use our space as your business address. You can also use our PO Box, receive messages on our phone line, and get your own virtual telephone number too.

And while we do all we can to support your business growth (including workshops and events), we aren't an incubator either. There are no applications, specific skill levels, or background requirements to work at CapitalSquare (as long as you and your business are legal), but we can guarantee that you’ll find our community of fellow professionals incredibly helpful and inspiring!
What is this coworking thing, anyway?

The idea is simple: independent professionals and those with workplace flexibility work better together than they do alone. Coworking is about creating better spaces to work, and a better way to work.

Coworking is built on the values of collaboration, openness, community, accessibility, and sustainability. It allows people to work for themselves, but not by themselves, sparking more new ideas in the process.

What is the CapitalSquare coworking space like?

Right now, CapitalSquare is in a 270 sq.m. space on the 2nd floor of the Garnet Building in Lekki. Our main workspace is a room with desk space for up to 21 people. In addition to that, we have 3 private offices, 2 meeting rooms, a seminar/training room, 2 kitchenettes, and 2 reception areas.

So no matter what you need to do, there's a space for that.
What about private offices? Can I get one?

Yes, we have private offices, and yes, you can have one! We've got offices for 1, 3, and 5 people. Click here for the details.

However, we’d like to remind you that coworking is all about shared space. Most of our members work in a large room around other professionals. We strongly encourage you to give this a try!
How much does a membership cost?

We've got monthly memberships based on how often you want to work out of the space, starting from Virtual (business address only) at approximately N8,000 a month, to Resident (you can come in all month) at N35,000 a month. We've also got pay-as-you-go pricing from as low as N2,000 per day. Btw, our memberships are per person, but if you'd like a plan for a small team, don't hesitate to get in touch!

Can I have visitors?

Of course. You can have casual meetings within the main workspace, as long as you and your colleagues show respect by keeping the volume of conversations low. Please note that meetings within the general areas can only be a maximum of an hour long, or we will have to charge you for a day pass for your guest.

For more important/private meetings, you can use the small meeting room or book some time in the conference room.
I’m ready to start at CapitalSquare. What do I need to do?

If you're planning to use a Day or Flex Pass, just come over with a valid ID. But if you want to sign up on anyof our monthly/quarterly plans, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Register your interest here. We'll get back to you within a day or two, to figure out what will work best for you, and invite you to come look at the space before you make your final decision.

Step 2: You pay for your chosen plan, sign our coworking space agreement, and give us copies of the following documents (KYC requirements): valid ID, utility bill, business registration documents (for registered businesses), and a passport photograph.

Step 3: We set you up on our network, and you're good to go!
Can I host a meeting or event at CapitalSquare?

Definitely! We have different meeting rooms suited to different types of events, so you should find something perfect for what you’re planning. You can check out our meeting spaces and book one here.

When can I visit CapitalSquare? I’d love to see it in person!

We’re open from 8am – 7pm on weekdays, and from 11am to 4pm on Saturdays. Feel free to drop by anytime, and we’ll have someone around to give you a tour and answer any questions you have.

How do I get to CapitalSquare?

Our coworking space is on the 2nd floor of the Garnet Building. It's along the Lekki express, just before Igbo Efon roundabout (search for "The Garnet, Lekki, Lagos" on Google Maps).

Bus Directions:
The Ajah bus stops right in front of our building – The Garnet, close to Igbo Efon roundabout (Igbo Efon first bus stop).

Driving Directions:
From Victoria Island, go down the Lekki-Epe expressway and pass through the first 5 roundabouts. Keep right after the 5th, and turn right just before the 6th roundabout (opposite Alpha Plaza). Take the immediate left, and park in the Garnet Building parking lot.
