What is CapitalSquare?
CapitalSquare is a coworking space (i.e. a shared office where small businesses, freelancers, and remote workers rent space and share full professional office facilities). However, we also offer a virtual plan, where you can use our space as your business address.
And while we do all we can to support your business growth (including workshops and events), we aren't an incubator either. There are no applications, specific skill levels, or background requirements to work at CapitalSquare (as long as you and your business are legal), but we can guarantee that you’ll find our community of fellow professionals incredibly helpful and inspiring!
What's the space like? Where is it located?
Right now, CapitalSquare is in two locations in Lagos: 270 sq.m. on the 2nd Floor of the Garnet Building, Igbo Efon, Lekki Expressway, and a duplex at 225b Ikorodu Crescent in Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi. Both locations include open plan workspaces, private offices, meeting rooms, lounge areas, a reception, and a kitchen. We also have additional event facilities at our Ikoyi location. So, no matter what you need to do, there's a space for that.
Our spaces are fully equipped with (almost) everything you might need to run your business: uninterrupted power, fast, reliable internet (25mbps to 50mbps on a fibre link), copiers and printers, projectors, android-powered TVs, storage lockers, mail handling, on-site receptionist, and tea and coffee to power you through the day.
How much does it cost to work from CapitalSquare? How flexible is it?
We know the startup life is unpredictable, so we've got you sorted on cost and flexibility. You can walk in to any of our coworking spaces whenever you need somewhere to work and just pay for the day (or half-day, if you come in after 2pm). Day rates are N3,000 per day or N2,000 for a half-day, and you can stay in as long as you like.
Our desk and private office memberships are month-to-month, so you're not locked into a year-long contract, and they start from N35,000 per month for the desks and N90,000 per month for private offices. We also have a virtual address plan (N50,000 per year) if you just want a business address and a place for meetings, and a community membership (N60,000 per year) that gives you access to all our member events and benefits, as well as 3 days of workspace every month.
What are your working hours?
The reception at each location is staffed from 8am to 5pm on weekdays, however, members and drop-ins can stay in until 10pm. Private office users have 24/7 access to the coworking space via key card.
Do I need to pay any deposits or setup fees when I sign up?
All members pay a one-time setup fee of N5,000 at the start of their membership. Resident, dedicated desk, and private office members also pay a refundable security deposit equal to one month's membership. Private office users also pay a refundable key deposit of N5,000 for a set of office keys.

We want you to get the best and most cost-effective membership for your situation, so you can take a look and compare what's on offer here. If you're still stuck, we're happy to suggest one of our standard plans or put together something custom just for you. Can I have visitors?
Of course! We generally advise that you book a meeting or conference room whenever you're expecting a guest, but you can have quick, casual meetings (max. 2 people, 30 minutes) within the general areas, as long as you keep the volume of your conversation low. If your meeting goes on for an hour or more, we will have to charge you or your guest for a day pass. Private office users can meet with guests in their offices.
Please note that visitors are only allowed in during reception hours, and all visitors must sign in at the front desk.
I'd like to see the space before I make a decision. Do you offer free trials?
Sure! You can always schedule a tour of either (or both) of our locations before you sign up. We also do free pass days once a month, so sign up to our newsletter or follow us on social media for details of the next one.
I'm sold! How do I get started?
We're happy to hear that! Book a tour here, so we can get to know each other a bit more. After that, you'll fill in our member registration form (you’ll need to upload copies of your government-issued ID, business registration documents, and a recent utility bill/proof of address, so please have them handy), sign the license agreement, and make the first payment for your preferred plan. We'll set you up on our network and you're good to go!
I want a space at CapitalSquare, but I won't be ready for a few months. Can I reserve the space now?
Because of the flexible nature of our business, we can't guarantee that your preferred space will be available in the future. We will try our best to find a solution that works for you.
Does my membership have to start on the 1st of the month?
No, you can just let us know when you want to start and we'll prorate your first month's bill. If you're on an annual plan (Virtual or Community membership), we do prefer that you start on the first of the month.
Can I host a meeting or event at CapitalSquare?
Definitely! We have different meeting rooms suited to different types of events, so you should find something perfect for what you’re planning. You can check out our meeting spaces and book one here.
