CapitalSquare on August 12, 2016, opened its studio in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The new co-working space located at the end of Illupeju street, Dolphin Estate, offers a lot of facilities to its users including single desks, private offices, a conference room and lounge for use by freelancers, creatives and business owners.
Modupe, Odunyemi, founder of the pioneer co-working space initiative, spoke on the motive behind creation of the new studio. She said :
“We designed The Studio to be warm and welcoming, a place where creative people would feel at home. We believe people shouldn’t have to work in dull, boring spaces, so we wanted our space to be full of colour and life, but still somewhere you would be proud to show to your investors or clients. I think we’ve achieved that with The Studio.”
Just like CapitalSquare’s first work-space in Lekki, working hours are flexible as bookings can be made by the hour, day or month as needed. Other essentials include internet, a quiet environment, friendly staff, provisions for coffee, etc.
